Orange Mousse


Prawns Curry


Ingredients:

Prawns -250g
Onion-1 cup(1 big)
Small onions-1/4 cup(10 nos)
Ginger crushed-1tbsp
Garlic crushed-1tbsp
Tomato-1/2 cup(1 small)
Chilly pdr-1tsp
Kashmiri chilly pdr-1 tsp
Pepper-1/2 tsp
Turmeric pdr-1/4 tsp
Fenugreek pdr-1/4tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Coconut oil-as required
Salt-to taste
Sugar-1/2 tsp(optional)

Method:


1.Heat a pan/earthen pot(manchatti).Pour oil into it and splutter mustard seeds.
2.Add the onion and saute.Once the colour of onion starts changing ,add smallonions,ginger,garlic ,curryleaves and saute.
3.When it is half done,add the tomatoes and saute well.
4.Add all the masala powders (chilli, turmeric, pepper & fenugreek). Fry for 2-3 mins till the raw smell goes and oil starts appearing.(You can add little water if necessary.)
5.Add cleaned prawns and mix well. Add the garam masala and mix. Reduce flame to lowest and cover & cook for 5 mins.
6.Remove the lid, boil for 2 more minutes to reduce the excess gravy. Add 1/2 tsp sugar and mix well. Switch off the flame.
7.Let it rest for half an hour for the flavour to settle in.Serve with Rice, Appam or Chapathi.
